                                       Ohhhhh yeahhhhhh...

Ron Fans everywhere,

My apologies for the late e-mail, but it’s been one of those weeks. Busy, busy,
busy with all kinds of stuff that has nothing to do with The Ron Jonsons. BUT, I’ve
also been busy with some band business as well! Here’s what we’ve ‘cooked’ up.

First off, an update on the album. We’re still recording it and we’re still making it
sound better and better. It’s certainly taken us longer than I thought, but that’s the
way the ‘cookie’ crumbles. We’ve been recording the lyrics now and it’s like
putting the ‘icing on the cake’. It’ll be a ‘treat’ to your ears! Perhaps I should post a
sample on our webpage…

Secondly,
TO ALL OUR ATLANTA FANS!! You asked for it and now we’re delivering. On March
9th at 8 pm, The Ron Jonsons will play Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta!! Now this is our
Atlanta premiere, so if you want to keep seeing us in Atlanta, come out and show
us you love us! We’re really excited about this one! I guess we’ll just have to make
sure that it’s one of our best shows ever. It’ll be quite a ‘treat’!

We’ve got a few more ‘sweet’ gigs lining up as well. We’ll let you all know when
they’re confirmed. Keep on rockin’, fans!

P.S. Can you find all of the puns in this email? It should be easy as…pie! A piece of
cake!

The Ron Jonsons:
Not just melting faces anymore...

Ladies and gents,
We did a gig last night and it was AWESOME. It was the first time the four of us
have played together since October. That’s WAY to long. But as you can see, our
show schedule is beginning to fill up again now that the album is almost done. We
went in a couple of nights ago and laid down the vocal tracks to “11-8” (working
title…maybe) and “Ellen”. Both of those are new songs that aren’t on our demo,
so the album will be the first time you’ll be able to pop those songs on your iPod.

Ya know, since I’m letting cats out of the bag, let me arouse your appetite with the
track listing. Now we haven’t locked down any particular order yet, but here are
the 10 songs that will appear on the album:

Repeat Offender (new)
Had Enough
Ellen (new)
College Song (new, title subject to change)
11-8 (new, title subject to change)
An Endless Corridor
I Took The Fall
Lake of Good Views (new)
The Wall
Night Ride

All originals. All fantastic songs. We’re still working hard on this in the studio, but
we hope to see you all out at the live gigs as well! Keep an eye on the show
schedule. ‘Til then, have a rocking week.

What's the metaphoric "icing on the cake"?
It's the actual icing on this cake.

Hello Roniacs!

We haven’t had a chance to get into the studio this week, but I’ve made a few
updates that you may find tantalizing. All those updates can be found on our new
and improved website at www.theronjonsons.com.

The biggest change is on the homepage, where you will first notice that we’ve
changed the background from a boring single color to a lush two-tone pattern
featuring the silhouette of our logo! The second thing you’ll notice is that lovely
sound that has begun to play over your speakers. We’ve added an instrumental
version of one of our songs from the new album! It’s like a little sneak peak. We’
ve basically turned the Home page into something of a showcase of our entire
website. There are a few pictures, a video, and some downloadable wallpapers
available. Check it out!

You’ll also see that we’ve moved the blog to our new “News / Blog” tab that’s been
added to the tabs on the left. This news page will contain our blog as well as a
new “Album Progress” section that will show you how we are progressing on our
album. And yes, it’s still going a little slow, but we’ve come so far!

All right, Ron Fans, the fan bar has been raised. One of our fans has now made us
the Ron Jonsons cake. That’s right. It’s a cake that’s been decorated with the Ron
Jonsons logo. Thanks, Rachel, for the lovely cake!

That’s it for this week, fans. I’ll keep keeping you in touch with everything Ron
Jonsons!

We can't wait to rock this city!

Sup, guys and gals!

I’m just chillin’ at my house waiting for Youth Band practice to start. Then I get to
go beat around some heads until things start to sound like music (and if you’re
reading this, hey youth band!). It’s an exciting time, cause things are starting to
come around again for The Ron Jonsons. That daggum album is closer to done
than ever (only 3 songs left on vocals!!) and we’re about to start hitting the live
shows again. Our debut in Atlanta is coming up fast and it’s gonna be sweet. With
any luck, our second-to-debut gig in Atlanta will be set up soon. But that’s merely
speculation.

We spent last week doing a little practice to get the rust off since it’s been so long
since we’ve played live (sans our last Tasty World gig). We also started working
up the set lists for the Smith’s Olde Bar gig and the Mall ‘o’ Georgia gig coming up.
We also went into the studio and knocked out the vocal parts for “An Endless
Corridor”, “Lake of Good Views”, and the backup vocals of “Night Ride”. If we
push really hard, we can knock out all the recording for this CD in one more trip. It’
s so close to done it’s nearly driving me mad! Rawr.

Oh, one more thing. New wallpapers available on our website!

Whelp, I’ll talk to you crazy cats later. Later!
