We are The Ron Jonsons. We’re here to shift your paradigms. Let there be
no beating around the bush. At our very core, we are 100% rock. One of our
favorite things to do with our music is to take that rock and roll core and coat
it with the candy shells of different genres, such as ethnic, jazz, and blues in
order to make a musical treat for your ears. We may dabble in other genres,
but we cannot escape our essence of rock. We painstakingly work to ensure
that all of our songs provide a different listening experience from the song
before it. For a sound that is exquisitely diverse yet undeniably rock, we give
you The Ron Jonsons.

Josh Bailey - Likes: Burritos, science, and being underwater (but not for very long)
After eight years of playing trumpet and baritone in school and university bands,
Josh decided to turn his musical talents toward a more socially accepted
instrument. He began playing guitar during his sophomore year of college and
finally became a bassist during his senior year. After years of playing in assorted
concert, church, and jazz bands and even more years of being an avid fan of all
forms of rock and roll, Josh is highly qualified to rock your face off.

Spence Bailey - Likes: Blowing your mind, being complex, and puppies!
Spence is a man of mystery. An enigmatic figure, Spence prefers to keep much of
his life shrouded in secrecy. Is this due to the fact that he is a superhero? Could it
be that he has a dark and troubled past? Is it that he plans to become a maniacal
madman and use the powers of a rock band to slowly take over the world with his
trance-inducing grooves? Perhaps the answer lies within the very fabrication of
space and time itself. Nobody is sure of the answer, but it is widely speculated that
he will accomplish his goals with a guitar and a passion to rock.

Austin Young - Likes: You, because of your strikingly beautiful eyes
Known widely for his musical talents, Austin is the current keyboardist/
saxophonist/singer/backup drummer/etc. of the Ron Jonsons. He began taking
piano lessons when he was six, and began playing the saxophone when he was
twelve. Austin has played for numerous events all over the southeast. He loves all
different types of music, and he is a pretty cool guy to be around. Austin is a man
who really knows how to please the audience by tickling the keys.
Known widely for his musical talents, Austin is the current keyboardist/
saxophonist/singer/backup drummer/etc. of the Ron Jonsons. He began taking

Michael Butts - Likes: Meat, baseball, comics, cake, bacon, and meat
A product of the old school, Michael "Butts" Butts has been drumming since 1998,
when he joined his high school drumline. He was voted "2002 Rookie of the Year"
and "2004 MVP" on the Georgia Southern University Drumline and has been
performing on drum set for over 10 years. With experience, diversity and control,
The Ron Jonsons and their fans can be confident their drummer will bring the noise.
A product of the old school, Michael "Butts" Butts has been drumming since 1998,
when he joined his high school drumline. He was voted "2002 Rookie of the Year"
